Aztec Midnight by M. C. Tuggle
Aztec Midnight by M. C. Tuggle, was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. A short book that teaches a person some Spanish, some about the Aztecs and Mexico. The general gist of the story is Mexican Drug Cartels are looting ancient Aztec sites looking for a particular knife. At time’s the novella reminded me of reading the old pulp “private eye,” type books. This was due to the dialogue and the plot twists and turns encountered along the way. The novella never gets boring and may even teach a person some, though that is not the point of reading an action/adventure type novella. If you have ever visited Mexico outside of the resort walls or the border town or you know someone who does, this book is a definite buy. Of course, if the book description sounds like your type of book, certainly buy it as well.
