Broken! by Michael Kearns and Ronald Solomon

I finally finsihed the book:

Broken! by Michael Kearns and Ronald Solomon was received direct from the publisher for reasons other than this review, though I chose to review it as well. Military oriented books automatically receive my attention, not saying they will get a good review because being a military member for 25 years, I can see through the BS of many so called authors right away. This book, written as fiction, and I know exactly why. The book was “mostly” something I would be hapopy with, however when the author Kearns bio says he is a “vocal opponent of the Bush/Cheney torture program,” I have to wonder what he thinks about the current regime and why he didn’t bother to comment on that in his bio. The other author, Solomon’s bio relates “he is deeply concerned about the condition of our country and the negative effects of financial elitists and their government lapdogs on our citizenry.” I wholeheartedly agree with this statement and the negative effects are obvious in the first “Ryan” budget just passed. Financial elitists and government lapdogs are there for everyone to see. The book is a good military style book that anyone alive and paying attention over the last 14 years should be aware of and maybe they will think about what goes on in this world.
