Narrative of Military Operations During the Civil War by Joseph E. Johnston, was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. The book is a re-release of a 1874 book which and more research material than a novel. The material, being written in the 1870’s, was not easy to read but it was informative at least in the Confederate Army’s internal politics (at least from Johnston’s viewpoint). If you or someone is interested in anything I mentioned or you know of someone who is writing a research paper, this is a good book to obtain and use.
