The Doll Master and Other Tales of Terror by Joyce Carol Oates was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Tales of terror are always high on my list, though I was disappointed with this book. The tales in this book were not bad but they just were just not that scary, thus the disappointment. If you are looking for old school drawn out tales of dread give this a try, if you want some horrible stories with some gore thrown in, pass this one up.
