Things You Need by Kevin Lucia was received direct from the publisher. I have never heard of the author, however I have had good luck with the publisher putting out good horror that I like. This authors writing style caught me. He writes like someone is talking to you, telling a story directly to you alone. As always, I will not go into the plot as other reviewers do that all to well. I will say, as I get older, shorter stories are more my preference and a book with short stories wrapped around a central theme, such as this one, are even better. If you or some one you buy gifts for like small towns, shops filled with odd things or just well written horror stories, give this novella a read for sure, there is no need to ask the Magic 8 Ball and receive a non answer such as “Ask again later.” 4.5 stars rounded up to 5
