Beatrice Beechams Ship of Shadows by Dave Jeffery was received direct from the publisher. Previous to reading this young adult novel, I had never read this authors work before. I am very familiar with this publisher, more for their horror novels. As always, I will not go into the plot-line in my review. This is the second novel of a series of three, though never fear as it is a stand alone novel, as stated I had never read this author before. If you or someone you but gifts for like to read about ancient relics, witches and Newshounds, this may be the holiday season page turner to read.
