Monster, by Keith Ferrario

Monster, by Keith Ferrario, was received from the publisher in exchange for this honest review. Not to be one to "jump on the bandwagon," but several other reviewers have said the same thing I was thinking about this book. While the author is entertaining, especially with the Antarctic part, the breaking of the book into basically two separate books was unexpected. Actually I finished the first part and did not read any more of this book for several days. Upon returning to it, I thought I was reading the wrong book for part two since the two parts are so different. While there is no groundbreaking materials here, the book(s) are good for a fairly quick read and if you like books like the Thing or medical thrillers, this is the book for you, a "twofer." This was the first book by this author and I will continue to seek his materials out in the future.
