Shadowshift by Peter Giglio
Shadowshift by Peter Giglio, was received direct from the publisher in exchange for this review. The book, written by another (cheap pop) Missourian, involves family, telekinesis and shapeshifting. The book started out kind of slow, though I do not remember skimming any to get through any overlong scenes. I have never read this author before but he pleasantly surprised me as not taking me down some path where I have to over think what is going on, as many modern horror authors do. I will search out this authors novels. Pertaining to this book, if you are someone needing a gift like the aforementioned topics, certainly buy this book, it is a good read for certain. The only thing about this book I am not certain on it ended too “happy,” and I smell a possible sequel.
4 Stars.
