Dark Screams Volume 5 Anthology

Dark Screams Volume 5 Anthology was received direct from the publisher in exchange for this review. The Dark Screams series has its share of hits and misses, though none of the misses are catastrophic for sure. Generally big names are mixed up with maybe not so big names (that is a subjective topic for sure), to make an enjoyable, quick horror read at an affordable price. This issue was no different with authors like Mick Garris (Everything You’ve Always Wanted), the longest of the five stories; Kealan Patrick Burkes (The Land of Sunshine); Del James’ (Mechanical Gratitude); J Kenners (The One and Only), which I connected to the most simply because it happens in New Orleans and he knew the layout of the familiar streets and lastly was horror master Bently Littles (The Playhouse). If you like this series, download this one as well, if you are looking for inexpensive, easy to read horror tales, download this book. Don’t forget it can be given as a gift as well.
