The Mickey Mouse Reader, edited by Garry Apgar

The Mickey Mouse Reader, edited by Garry Apgar was received direct from the publisher in exchange for this review. Having loved Disney “back in the day,” when Walt was still alive, this reader (not book) was a good way for me to learn about the company/the brand that was Mickey Mouse, thus Disney. The reader is real long and, as others have stated, gets a bit redundant. I do not blame the editor as the redundancies are from different people telling the same story. As such, skimming is almost expected. If you love(d) Disney or any of the original characters, or no someone who does, this book is for you, everyone is almost guaranteed to learn something about the icon that is Disney and/or Mickey Mouse.

4 Stars.
