The Dover Demon by Shea Hunter

The Dover Demon by Shea Hunter was received direct from the publisher in exchange for this review. My first thought as I started reading this book was, “is the Dover Demon real?” I had never heard of the Dover Demon before now and a quick BINGIN disclosed the Dover Demon was reportedly seen in 1977 as the book suggests. The book has a good storyline but kind of jumps around at times via changing scenes unexpectedly. That may be smoothed out before the final product comes out though. The book did not lag much, I rarely skimmed due to getting bored with dialogue and will certainly seek this author out, apparently he has many books I have never read. If you or whoever you buy books for likes “based upon a true story,” creature books, this is the book for you.
