Tropical Depression by Jeff Lindsay

Tropical Depression by Jeff Lindsay was received direct from the publisher in exchange for this review. The book, in my opinion, was better than Dexter series, thought that opinion may be eschewed due to the TV series. i was never on the bandwagon for either. Lindsay's "cop source" is authentic, as I was law enforcement for most of my adult life and I can relate. I also like the one liners, especially new ones, or more like ones that are not overly cliched, such as "he weighed 90 pounds soaking wet with a beer in each hand". The book got kind of long and could have been shorter but I still didn't get bogged down in boringness. Shorter books is a personal preference of mine and I realize this. if you like the author, or if you like Key West or want to know more about Key West (the whole book DOES NOT take place there however), then this is the book for you.
