Under the Black Flag At the Frontier of the New Jihad by Sami Moubayed

Under the Black Flag At the Frontier of the New Jihad by Sami Moubayed was provided direct from the publisher in exchange for this review. I went into this novel with trepidation about would the author be apologetic to the ISIS cause or even try to covert me to Islam. This was not a problem as the author was as straightforward with writing about the group as I could hope he would be. The author gives a run down that every non Muslim should be aware of so they can be more "in the know of where Muslims are coming from (both radicalized and not)." The reader learns interesting things such as the ISIS leader was in an American military prison until released by the current Obama administration and the ISIS “Caliphate” government has consumer protections in place for things such as food prices, vaccinations, mortgage assistance and rent control. ISIS also has deals in place with other official governments to make school official and to keep utilities that cross border running. A fine read for most anyone who sees ISIS on television each day and want to learn more.
