Amazing Punk Stories by David Agranoff was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I must be honest, I went into this book with trepidation as I am not a huge fan of the punk in books genre. I am though a huge fan of punk rock, go figure. This book surprised me in many ways with its “just right” length short stories, that never bore a person and its homage or style of writing like the old pulp comic books from when I was a kid. All of the stories obviously deal with punk rock in some fashion and while some stories are horror, some are more sci-fi, which is a genre I used to love but lost interest in over the years. That was due to good sci-fi authors not being available. If you are someone you wish to give gifts to like punk rock or very interesting novella length stories, give this book a chance.
