After the Fog Clears by Lee Thompson was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. The book starts out real strong then slowed down, slowed down a lot in my opinion. About halfway through I found myself skimming through the book. The characters are developed and the storyline is “ok”, but as another reviewer stated, if you are looking for characters and a storyline with more depth, this may not be the book for you. Then again it could just be me, as the newer “smart person” books that a person has to get fully vested in as a reader, tends to turn me off as a reviewer. Anyway if you like a “crime drama” with sick in the head people, kind of like real life, this book could be the book for you. Some have called it a Top Book of 2016 contender already.
