The Jersey Devil by Hunter Shea was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. When you recieve a Hunter Shea novel, gernally (always) based on a true life "monster," you know you are in for a treat. Hunter takes the mythology of the creature and makes it his own. As such you learn some about the mythos and also have a full helping of horror fiction. I suggest a quick read up (wikipedia, etc) on the Jersey Devil befor you open this book, which will move you non stop through the novel, never letting up and never getting boring. If you or anyone you buy gifts for like these type of books, you should buy this authors books each and every time.
