The Torch is Passed (A Harding Family Story) Book Two of Three by Bill Powers was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I even let the author guest host my blog after meeting him. The Torch is Passed is a medical thriller which I generally do not read, not because I dont like them, but because some authors try to baffle the reader with their brilliance on the subject. This author is not like that, I never felt like he was trying to show his brilliance. I, as always, will not go into the plot of the book, which can be read "stand alone," but I suggest you buy the first book as well (The Pharm House), and soon there will be the final book in the trilogy. If you like medical/mystery/thrillers full of action, this is the book/series for you to curl up with on a cool fall evening (fall is FAST approaching).
