Ice Rift by Ben Hammott

Ice Rift by Ben Hammott was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.. I rarely see many Antarctica based novels but when I do I read them. This one not disappoint, staring out with a space based creature hunt and then a stowaway. The book was action packed, which a lost also cost it a star because there was so much action, I never really got time to know the characters. I know if yu read my reviews, character development is not something I much care about, so instead of character development, lets say there was so much action I often could not keep track of who was who. The author takes parts of Rrendezvous with Rama, parts of The Thing, maybe a little bit of the Hardy Boys (boy detectives, not the TNA wrestlers), and weaves a quick paced yarn you won't forget. 4 Stars
