Siren of Depravity by Gary Fry

Siren of Depravity by Gary Fry was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. A brother you hadn't heard from in years suddenly calls and wants to see you, what could go wrong with that? The novella starts slow, but not boring, and continues in that way in the manner that if you skim, you might miss something. Once the novella picks up though, you get Lovecraftian elements, intermixed with some Stephen King and some Mary Shelley elements. Combined you get a Siren of Depravity. If you like character development with not many characters to keep track of, give this one a shot, just in time for Christmas. 3.5 stars
