Accepted: How the First Gay Superstar Changed the WWE by Pat PATTERSON
Accepted: How the First Gay Superstar Changed the WWE by Pat PATTERSON was received direct from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Accepted is written like the reader and Pat are sitting down, drinking beers and having a conversation. PATTERSON was a wrestler before my time. I first remember him as a "stooge" back when the WWE did not suck. Pat quickly glossed over this er in his book. Pats stories about him and the wrestling greats back when there were regionalized federations certainly made me yearn for the proverbial "good old days" of wrestling. While it had nothing to do with this book, I once was at a hotel where the WWE was staying and Pat kind of ignored the fans, staying behind the magic yellow crime scene" tape and never acknowledging us in any way. If you grew up watching pro wrestling on rabbit eared television antennas or just want to read about life on the wrestling road, this is the book for you or whoever you may want to buy a gift for. 4 stars
