The Priest of Love: A Life of D H Lawrence by Harry Thornton Moore

The Priest of Love: A Life of D H Lawrence by Harry Thornton Moore was received direct from the publisher Endeavour Press. I went into this book not knowing anything about DH Lawrence, his past past and having never seen the movie about his life. As such, I learned a lot about this early 1900's author who has been deemed a pornographer who wasted his writing talent, or as a modern day genius. I guess it is entirely up to the audience to decide. This biography should be mandatory reading for some college classes, both for the writing of Lawrence and for the psychology of the "love him or hate him" aspect of his life. Recommended reading for those who want to learn about how some people treat a person they don't agree with, or simply because it is a entertaining read. 4 Stars
