Helen, a Novel, by Anita Mishook

Helen, a Novel, by Anita Mishook was received direct from the authors publicist. Historical fiction, if you read my reviews, is something I am interested in. On the flip side, you may also know if a book bogs down in "inane dialogue," (my words), I rant about it. This author manages to put great details into her writing and yet, not bore me. I had never heard of the "Silvershirts," and since this is fiction I dont know what was true but I will assume the author knew what she was talking about. If you want to learn about how parts of California was messed up even 80 years ago, and learn some about Nazism in the USA, give this book a read.
