A Kiss of Thorns by Tim Waggoner was received direct from the publisher. Tim Waggoner is one of those special writers, in that I look forward to reading his new releases, many have been at that stage, few remain. "Mass-a-cur, thats a funny word." This novella has a lot of funny words and for the 80's movie connoisseur, you should love this quick read as it brings movie scenes to mind. Other reviewers have given the novellas premise, so I wont re-hash it, but if yo love 80's horror movies or just quick, bloody reads that has no drawn out dialogue scenes, give this novella a try.
