Ugly Little Things: Collected Horrors by Todd Keisling was received direct from the publisher. This publisher is mostly dead on with good horror books that are not over the top politically correct as many "horror" publicists are nowadays. This is the first I am reading of this author and will take my personal score of each story and average them for the book total. This author tells a engaging story but at times, he could have gotten to the point quicker, and then other times I felt cheated with the ending. Unlike others who have read this author, I was not overwhelmed though I would read more of his works. If you like thinking mans horror or know someone who does, give this book a read. 3.7 stars
