The Gaslight Stalker, Esther and Jack Enright Mystery, Book One by David Field was received direct from the publisher. Jack the Ripper, most everyone who can read has heard of him. David Field presents a new fiction novel of the Ripper and a team of normal folk who find themselves investigating the Ripper. I have to say there is a lot of extraneous talk going on in this book, which causes me to skim. Others love this “character development” so I let you know so you can make your own decision. As in all of my reviews, I do not go into plot as I am certain other reviewers have done that already. If you like historical fiction taking place in London, or you like Jack the Ripper stories, certainly grab this one up for yourself or as a gift. 4 Stars
