Basically, Vestal is a vampire book, however dont assume thats all it us. Sometimes authors, such as this one, come along and add to the tired mystique, instead of writing the same things you have seen or heard before. If you or someone you buy gifts for loves to expand in the vampire genre, give this book a try. 4 stars
