Darker Days: A Collection of Dark Fiction by Kennneth Cain was received direct from the publisher. I cannot specifically say I have read this author in the past but his name does sound familiar, so maybe I have read a story or something from an anthology (who knows). If you read my reviews, you may remember, anthologies are my favorite, due to a short attention span and the plethora of writing styles one can find. Mr Cain writes a myriad of styles all on his own, which kept me entertained, with no skimming due to the story line dragging down. Readers can get outright terrified, or wonder at science fiction type writings or wonder about weird stories, all in one collection. As Forrest Gump said about chocolates, "you never know what you are gonna get," with this author. If you or someone you buy gifts for needs a easy reading book that will keep the entertainment coming, certainly give this one a read.
