Travesty of Justice by Don Brown was received direct from the publisher. Firstly, I am a US military veteran of numerous wars, skirmishes, police actions, whatever you want to call them. Further, I was never a fobbit, I left the safety inside the wire often. Some will know what fobbit means, most fobbits will not. I say this as an experienced combat troop knowing what ROE means and how it affects those outside the wire. The ROE that deployed military members were subjected to under the Obama regime, often times, made them sitting ducks. Further, the non politicized troops and the troops with common sense, were very weary of the US government having their backs, as this LT learned. I am not going to go into this authors opinion on things, as I have seen other documents that go directly against what is written here. That being said, overall I would agree with the LT''s actions and wonder how several others like him got prosecuted while others like Bradley Manning and Berghdahl got off. Those without blinders see why. If you, or someone you buy gifts for, is interested in combat zones, red tape or military criminal justice, certainly give this book a read. Lastly, remember, in all situations, ”it is better to be judged by 12 than carried by six.”
