The Brief by Simon Michael

The Brief by Simon Michael, was received direct from the authors publicist. The book is part of a series and this edition was written and published back in 2015. Crime stores from the prosecution perspective, come few and far between for me (I generally don’t read many of them). This book was one I was glad I chose to read and it was not wrapped up in legalese and British criminal justice in the 1960’s was something to behold with gang wars, police corruption and all around seediness. Too bad the current administration there has made it a whole new country from 50 years ago. AS always, I will NOT go into the story plot, but I will says if you, or someone you buy gifts for, likes books or movies about London in the recent past, filled with drinking, brawls and overall hooliganism, this is the book to buy. I will search out the rest of this series.
