Clown in a Cornfield 2: Frendo Lives by Adam Cesare

Clown in a Cornfield 2: Frendo Lives by Adam Cesare was received directly from the publisher and I chose to review it. I had not read the first book in this series and I do not recall reading this author in the past. My very first impression of this book was that the first paragraph was one long run-on sentence. I am aware I was reading an ARC, so hopefully, it was corrected before going to print. The book, while being a "clowns/slasher/cornfield," book, had a lot of downtime where-in the characters just talked and talked and talked. Any reader of my reviews knows this costs points. Overall, I was disappointed in this book, the premise had so much to work with that was wasted. Of course, this is my opinion.
