Defeating Big Government Socialism by Newt Gingrich was received directly from the publisher and I chose to review it. I have read Newt's works and heard him speak many times over the years and he seems to write a book four times a year or so. This particular book is about the American majority, the real Majority, not what the mainstream media wants us Americans to think is the majority, really wants. We want the America we grew up in, not the post obama America, Americans have serious decisions to make about the future for our children. Big government needs to be vastly sized down, which would lower the crushing tax burden the workers are undergoing in this nation. We also want to have a voice in how those taxes are spent since our elected officials seem to be all mostly emboldened by one entity or another anymore, who are not their constituents. We as adult tax payers also want a say in our schools and our health care. If you or someone you buy gifts for has these same questions, give this book a read.
