Girl in Ice by Erica Ferencik
Girl in Ice by Erica Ferencik was received directly from the publisher, in the actual mail, not an electronic edition, and I chose to review it. Growing up I was deeply into Science Fiction, meaning space exploration and the like. This book is what I would deem as science fiction due to the subject matter of climate change and thawing a person out of ice. As always, I will not go into plot details, almost every other review you find of this book will copy and paste plot information for you. The book had its ups and downs and it started out pretty slowly but gained some pace. Taking place in areas of the world I am interested in, which was a plus. If you or someone you buys books for is interested in dead languages, the Arctic and a frozen girl "in ice" being thawed out alive, certainly give this book a read.
