Pharmythology: A Pharmacist’s Guide to Demystifying Medicine by Zahraa Alalag was received directly from the publisher and I chose to review it. Over the last several years, "big pharma" has taken a front row seat to people who want to know what exactly they are being prescribed and what that will do to your body. This book, while fairly short, will give the reader insight into prescription drugs, old and new ones, how some of them got FDA approved, why some never did and the weird ways some drugs were "invented." If you are interested in prescription drugs, certainly give this book a read. it is a quick read and it will teach you some things.
