Scaring and Daring by Horror Writers Association was obtained directly from the publisher and i chose to review it. This is an anthology of stories based upon classic literature, including but not limited to Pollyanna, The hound of the Baskervilles, A Secret Garden and Journey to the Center of the Earth. I read the stories while hanging out at airports and flying and most kept me fully occupied, with no skimming. One thing I wish the Horror Writers Association would do is introduce the people to new authors, not keep putting established authors in their anthologies, as all of these authors are well established. If you, or someone you buy gifts for, likes classic literature and likes different takes or add-ons to such, please give this book a read.
