The Fervor by Alma Katsu

The Fervor by Alma Katsu was received directly from the publisher and I chose to review it. I had never read this author before but the premise of this book, set in a Japanese internment camp had me excited to read it. The author wrote about a lot of things/topics in this book the author incorporated so many layers in the book and keeping track of the different lines was difficult, I am impressed the author kept track of all this. That being said, the book was "too busy," and not horrific enough for my likes, About 25% into the book it immensely slowed down and I started skimming. If you enjoy slow-burn historical fiction, or know someone who does, give this book a read.
