The Legend of Mildred Wells by Michael Clark

The Legend of Mildred Wells by Michael Clark was received directly from the publisher and I chose to review it. I had never read this author before nor had I heard of any alternate versions of this book, so I came in fresh. This book, while being a ghost story, seemed more to me. It told a tale of an entity that causes terror among a new homeowner of her old farm and the people of an adjacent town. Rightly or wrongly she gets her revenge. If you like ghost stories that rely on more than a jumper scare or creepy ambiance, give this book a read.
