The Living Dead by George Romero and Daniel Kraus

The Living Dead by George Romero and Daniel Kraus was received direct from the publisher and I chose to review it.  With the title and one of the authors, a person would think this is another reboot of the famous movie.  Rest assured, it is not a reboot/remake/new take on the classic Night of the Living Dead.  Now to my thoughts on the huge book.  While it has a multitude of characters and character Development, and enough gore, the book never really grabs me.  This means reading the book of 700 pages was almost a chore “just get on with it.”  If you are a devout Romero fan, or know one needing a gift, this book could be what you are looking for.  Further, those who like zombies and want to know the Romero version of how they started, give this book a read.
