Wounds to Wishes, Dark Tides Volume 1, numerous authors

Wounds to Wishes: Dark Tides Volume 1, was received directly from the publisher and I chose to review it. The publisher of this new series, Crystal Lake Publishing has been around a while and is consistent in publishing quality reading materials. The Dark Tide series, which this is Book One, consists of three novellas by three different authors, and each book will have a theme, ranging from Halloween and Body Horror to Sherlock Holmes, Murder Mystery, Weird Westerns and more. A new book is planned every month or so. This first issue, Wounds to Wishes: Tales of Mystery and Melancholy, included novellas written by Chad Lutzke, John Boden, and Robert Ford I will not go into details about each novella, others will do that, however, I will say, in my opinion, John Boden's novella was the best, it kept moving along, did not drag down and I enjoyed it. I wonder if Crystal Lake can set up an auto-delivery system for these books, seems like that would be a good gift for the rapidly approaching holidays.
