Skinshift by Lisa von Biela, was received direct from the publisher in exchange for this review. I have been reading Lisa von Bielas novels, mostly medical thrillers from what I remember, for several years. I must say this novella is my absolutely favorite of her writings. I will not go into the plot except to say shapeshifting and possible pollution are involved, in this tale of revenge that sets up a sequel (yay!). The novella is well written and a quick read with no boring parts from drawn out dialogue, thus no skimming. If you like novella’s about the Mojave desert, revenge and/or shapeshifting, this is the novella for you or for you to buy as a gift to someone who dies enjoy these topics.
