Volunteering
Recently I volunteered at two "bucket list" type events, things I wanted to to and finally did. One was The Road To Majority Political Conference,on Jun 19th 2015. I am not going into politics here but if you know me or read my works you should be fully aware of which side I lean on. Anyway I worked as a door guard, verifying people had proper credentials prior to entering the event. This position had me in the mix of ALL of the media outlets and their big name personnel covering the event as well as many of the 2016 Presidential Candidates walked right through "my" door entering or exiting. Anyway, this happened:
Police in Washington received 'at least two bomb threats' targeting the Faith and Freedom Coalition's annual 'Road to Majority' conference on Friday, according to a Metropolitan Police Department officer on the scene.
The threats prompted law enforcement to evacuate the conference's main auditorium while the bomb squad swept the room for explosives.
The officer told DailyMail.com that 'yeah, there were at least two bomb threats,' and 'one of them got us mobilized – we're being told it sounded credible and specific.'
Ultimately, more than two hours later police gave the 'all clear' and the event resumed.
I must have done a AWESOME job as door guard as no bloms were found. I am in this photo, which is alot like a Wheres Waldo photo if you know me see if you can find me.
