Rescued by Peter Zheutlin

Rescued by Peter Zheutlin was received direct from the publisher. I had never heard of this author, though I am a dog lover. We have always had rescue dogs, mostly with good luck, and I was aware of rescue networks but I had no idea how large and diverse there operations could be (and who funds these operations). While the book is about one dog, it actually covers, in detail the networks of rescue, mostly about labs. Rescued dogs may have a bad reputation ( some deservedly) but any person and any dog can become family. If you or someone you know is a dog lover, or even more so if you or they are thinking about adopting a dog, this book is highly suggested. 4 Stars
