Newsreal A View Through the Lens When...by Tim Ortman was received direct from the publisher. Tim Ortman was a news journalist back when they tried their hardest to provide accurate news coverage, unlike todays pseudo journalists who only seem to present the viewpoint of the left. Ortman hopes fact based news reporting will return. The bookis written by a 35 year veteran who is Emmy award winning and has covered topics over my adult life. Most of the book focuses on the 1980’s and Ortmans stories cover the good, bad and humorous of world events And if you, or someone you buy gifts for, wants to be a real news reporter, not a modern day type who recites the parties dialogue, or just wants to read history in some of our lifetimes, this book is recommended.
